Great value and an excellent team for our Kilimanjaro climb Me and my friend booked the 7-day Machame Route with Kili Tanzanite and had a really great experience. The price was very reasonable for a 7-day climb, and we felt it offered excellent value for money. Our guides, Dulan and Zuu, were both fantastic. They were professional, attentive and always supportive throughout the trek. The entire porter team also did a great job and took good care of us along the way. We really appreciated how well the whole team worked together. A special mention goes to our chef, Isaac. As an Asian traveler, I was a little worried about the food before the trek, but Isaac completely exceeded my expectations. The food was genuinely delicious, with plenty of variety, and I really enjoyed every meal on the mountain! Adam was also very helpful and provided great service throughout our trip. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and willing to help, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with our experience with Kili Tanzanite. If you are looking for a well-organized Machame Route trek with a professional team and good value for money, I would definitely recommend them.

Machame with Kili TZ We highly recommend using Kili TZ for doing the Machame route hike to Kilimanjaro summit. Selenge was an absolutely fantastic lead guide - very personable, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and really supported us throughout the 6 days. He inspired us to push to do 6-day hike instead of 7 days because he felt we could do it and it was great to have the backing of a lead guide like this. Safety was paramount but we also had a lot of fun with this team, and it made it such a memorable experience. The rest of the team played such an important role for us too - Azani was a great assistant guide, Chef Husein catered for a gluten free allergy in our group with incredible ease and imagination. We built a family bond with our porters and they had such a great attitude, always smiling and encouraging or helping us Overall the atmosphere we experience was superb: Safe, fun and cared for.

Amazing experience I did both a safari and the Kilimanjaro climbing with Andrew and his company. Both have been amazing. From the start, Andrew has been very responsive and supported us with everything (also with a lost luggage when we arrived). Then I met Andrew team and everyone contributed to make our experience unique. On the Kilimanjaro, Juma (our main guide) and Jonathan were above the average. Extremely kind hearted, genuine, flexible and fun to stay with. Juma supported us with everything, we also asked him to change the route and he was fine. He even gave us some medicines for the altitude. During the safari, John (our guide) has been very knowledgeable and available, and supported us in spotting all the animals we were interested in. I would truly recommend this company and the experiences we did. Thanks for everything

Unbelievable experience Had an absolutely incredible experience doing the 7 day Lemosho route with these guys! From the start everything was very smooth and well planned, we met the guides the day before we left for a briefing and sorted out rental gear, then we were ready to go! The porters were all incredible and the tent was nice and spacious. We had hot water to wash every day and the meals were delicious and plentiful. The guides Juma and Dullah (assistant guide) were friendly and knowledgeable, checking up on us throughout the day to make sure everything was ok. The trek itself was beautiful and varied, and very well paced. Whilst we were fine every other day, on the summit day one of us started struggling with altitude sickness. The guide took his bag and slowed down the pace, making frequent stops to check how he was doing and asking how he felt. We made it to the summit and I’m sure that was only possible with the support of the guide who was understanding and supportive the entire time. Overall an incredible and emotional journey - thank you!

Northern Circuit Route - Excellent Trip! We had an amazing experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (Northern Circuit Route) with Kilimanjaro Tanzanite Safaris. Thanks to Andrew who accommodated our Kosher requests and for answering our many questions before the trip. He also organised rides before and after our hike and helped us find a laundromat on route to our hotel. He put together a top notch team who supported us up the mountain. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks for a great, comfortable, and memorable adventure!

Marvellous kili hike Marvellous! Andrew was a pleasure to deal with on the organisation of the trip and lead up. Always answering my questions and helping with kit prep. I felt totally looked after before we had even got to Tanzania. On the kili hike the team of guides and porters were phenomenal. We simply would not have made it without them. They were all friendly, knowledgeable and made the trip amazing for us even when we didn't feel too great! They are the only reason we had a successful summit. Washing water, wake up calls, fresh food, genuine care and attention. The taxis and transport before and after our trip was all sorted out by Andrew too and and he really did take care of anything we asked. Would totally recommend this local company for a truly authentic experience!!!!!
