A 9-day trip is a nomadic safari and community cultural tourism. Visitors experience unlimited wildlife adventures, cultural tours, wonderful landscapes, wildebeest migration in Serengeti. Community cultural tourism include Maasai Boma visit and a Hadzabe visit for cultural interactions in Lake Eyasi. During this Tanzania wildlife safari, our guide use comfort 4 x 4 safari vehicle for wonderful game viewing. Our aim is to taste nomad life of maasai, and experience nomadic safari. Daily Travel Plan and Wildlife Safari Schedule
Day 01: Arrival at Arusha
Arrive at the Kilimanjaro Airport, JRO, we meet and transfer to Golden Crest Hotel or Tulia Hotel Spa
Day 02: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, lunch at the lodge and proceed with afternoon game drive. Tarangire is a home to Lion, Leopard, and Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed. This park has many baobab trees and some varieties of acacias, whereas Tarangire pythons climb trees, and the one place in Tanzania. Get dinner and overnight at the BAOBAB semi luxury camps/
Day 03: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park, and begin your wildlife tour for some hours. Drive to a Lodge in mto wa Mbu and get hot lunch. After lunch, begin local activities up to the evening, and drive to Karatu, and get meals and overnight at the Ngorongoro Farm House Lodge. *we have complimentary coffee tour* if you need
Day 04: Karatu to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro crater and do full day game viewing tour in the Ngorongoro Crater. Wake up early morning for breakfast then descend into the Crater floor for game drives. All the BIG FIVE Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera; others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda Lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp a Hippo pool. After lunch proceed with fame viewing while ascending the Crater. Get Dinner and overnight at the RHINO Lodge or ANGATA CAMP.
Day 05: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Depart to Serengeti and do full day wildlife tours in Serengeti National Park, get breakfast then follows morning and afternoon game drives; tour to Seronera the center of Serengeti. Proceed with game viewing around Seronera and following wildebeest migration trend. In the afternoon continue with game viewing in Central Serengeti area where the main path of the Serengeti Wildebeest migration has passed. Get dinner and overnight in the Semi luxury Camp.
Day 06: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Do a full-day game drive in Serengeti, Dinner and overnight at the Semi luxury Camp.
Day 07: Another Full-day Game Drive in Serengeti
Conduct another full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park before making your way to Karatu for a restful overnight stay at EILEENS INN.
Day 08: Karatu to Lake Eyasi
In the morning you will drive to Lake Eyasi (approximately 3 hour drive). This afternoon you can meet the Datoga tribe, famous for being the ‘blacksmiths of Tanzania’. Later afternoon your guide can take you for a walking safari around the edge of the lake, spotting out for some of the beautiful birdlife for which Lake Eyasi is famous. You will have dinner prepared by your safari chef and overnight at Lake Eyasi glamping . Please note the campsite facilities here are quite basic – all part of the adventure!
Day 09: Track the Hadzabe bushmen
Following an early breakfast at the campsite you will take a walk through the scattered bush to the Bushmen’s home, accompanied by your guide and a local guide that is able to translate the language of the Hadzabe tribe, which the bushmen belong to. The Hadzabe bushmen live in groups divided into approximately 10 families and they are very welcoming to visitors. You will be able to experience their typical bush life including their unique style of hunting for a variety of game meat as well as rodents, insects, roots and leaves. They sleep in caves, without fear of the wild animals that may pass by the in the night. After spending the morning with the Hadzabe you will head back to the campsite for lunch. Get Lunch at the Lodge and after lunch drive back to Arusha or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
