Day 01: Fly from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park – Game Drive & Boat Safari
After breakfast, your driver transfers you from Stone Town to the airport for your flight to Nyerere (Selous) National Park. Upon arrival, your safari guide will meet you at the airstrip and begin your first wildlife adventure in a 4×4 safari jeep. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River, famous for hippos, crocodiles, and stunning riverine scenery. Later, return to your premium accommodation at Serena Mivumo River Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Walking Safari & Afternoon Game Drives in Nyerere National Park
Start your day with an exciting guided walking safari, exploring the bush on foot with an armed ranger and learning about animal tracks, plants, and birdlife. In the afternoon, continue with classic game drives, searching for elephants, lions, wild dogs, giraffes, buffaloes, and more. Return to Serena Mivumo River Lodge for a relaxing evening by the river.
Day 03: Morning Game Drive & Flight Back to Zanzibar
Enjoy a final morning wildlife tour in Nyerere National Park, capturing the best early‑morning sightings. After the game drive, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar Island, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
