DAY 1: NGORONGORO CRATER.

Today we visit the largest intact volcanic crater in the world, the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. At more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. 30,000 animals make their home in this crater, making it an ideal place for sightings of the ‘big five, lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard.

We enjoy our picnic lunch in this truly world-class attraction, also known as the ’8th Wonder of the World’.

Dinner and overnight RHINO LODGE – A small Eco Lodge within Ngorongoro Crater rim: Full board.

DAY 2: OLMOTI AND EMPAKAI CRATER.

After breakfast depart to Olmoti Crater for a half-day walk. Often we meet Maasai on the way to the waterfalls at the crater.

At the afternoon we proceed to our base camp at Empakaai Crater (Special Campsite). Here you Experience the serenity and quiet beauty of this wild spot. Surrounding the lake you will reach springs, where you frequently see lots of wildlife. In the lake, there are many flamingoes.

DAY 3: EMPAKAAI TO LAKE NATRON.

Today we start walking from Empakaai to Lake Natron. We descend the outer hills of the Great Rift Valley; we walk through the open plains of the Embulbul depression, passing through Nairobi village. We have also a great opportunity to meet the local Maasai. Also, you will see Flamingoes at Lake Natron shores. Lake Natron is the sole and most famous flamingo birds breeding site.

Ol Doinyo Lengai and Mount Meru are seen along the way.

DAY 4: WALKING TO ODONYO LENGAI.

Today we walk to Oldonyo Lengai, this is a famous active volcano mountain in Tanzania this means (the holy mountain of the Maasai). The trail will lead us down into the Rift Valley escarpment, and most of the parts are quite steep. After 5-6 hours of walking, we reach the foot of the inspiring mountain. The tour includes a visit to natural attractions like Engaresero waterfalls and several wildlife species.

DAY 5: LAKE NATRON TO LAKE MANYARA.

Today you’ll experience the culture and traditions of the local Maasai at Lake Natron. Your local guide will show you the Maasai Boma and explain the way Maasai live; after a short visit in the Maasai boma, and Lake Natron Flamingo at Lake Shores, you will be taken to Lake Manyara.

Have dinner and overnight at Burudika Safari Lodge – an eco-Lodge located within the wildlife management area.

DAY 6: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK GAMEDRIVE, BACK TO ARUSHA

Drive to Tarangire National Park. For half-day game drives and then drive back to Arusha

Have dinner and overnight at Green Mountain Hotel or Tulia Boutique Hotel: Full board.

DAY 7: DEPARTING DAY.

Today we will rest at the hotel we have the option of going for FREE town tours, like a visit to Cultural Heritage site, curio and Tanzanite gem shopping, etc. Also, we must have your international outbound flights arrangement to the airport for the evening flight. Or if you want to proceed to Moshi to acclimatize for Kilimanjaro climb, we will send you there.
